Containers
All of our cylinder containers are made from 1.5mm steel, powder coated in grey (other colours available on request). They are fitted with small rubber feet (bumpstops) to prevent the metal of the container from contacting directly with the ward floors. They are also fitted with protective plastic trim and a removable/washable rubber mat to reduce wear and tear.
We have containers to house 2 to 9 small (104mm diameter) cylinders, so hopefully no matter how limited your available storage space we will have a container to suit. The containers are manufactured in the UK and are smart, robust and easy to clean. They can help reduce the risks associated with free-standing cylinders and provide a cost effective solution to your gas cylinder storage needs.

Wheeled Containers
The CS9W is fitted with braked castors making it very easy to relocate, even when fully loaded with cylinders. It holds 9 of the small CD size (102mm) cylinders and like our other cylinder containers it has protective plastic trim and a removable/washable rubber mat to reduce wear and tear. Many of our containers can be supplied with castors fitted.
The other wheeled containers are the CS6W and the CS8W to house 6 and 8 CD cylinders respectively. These containers are very useful when it comes to ward cleaning as they are obviously a lot easier to move out of the way. The containers themselves are also maintenance free and easy to clean.

Wall Mounted Containers
Some hospitals operate a “clear floor policy” and prefer to have their cylinder storage kept off of the ward floor, these wall mounted containers are the perfect solution. The wall mounted containers WM1 and WM3 are only suitable for CD/D size cylinders, not for E size cylinders. There are four fixing holes to attach the container securely to the wall.
They are fitted with protective trim and a removable/washable mat to reduce noise and “wear and tear”. Certain wards such as ICU/ITU prefer to have the CD cylinders in a wall holder next to individual patient beds rather than stored at the nurses` station.

Cylinder restraints
We have a range of restraints to accommodate the most widely used medical and industrial gas cylinder sizes – (140mm, 180mm and 230mm). The robust 3mm steel cylinder restraints come with protective trim, fixing holes and chains. We have single, double and quad cylinder restraints which can be fitted in the main gas store area or inside treatment rooms.
The restraints are for cylinders that are too large and too heavy for our range of cylinder containers or holders, for instance F/HX, G and J size medical cylinders. They are easy to use and can help reduce the risk of serious damage caused by a falling cylinder. We primarily supply to the medical sector however these restraints can equally be used for industrial cylinders of various sizes.

Cylinder Stalls and Cages
Our Cylinder Stalls are designed to provide safe storage for a range of different sized medical and industrial gas cylinders. The stalls are zinc plated before they are dry powder coated meaning that they can be situated outside if needed. All of our cylinder stalls come with fixing plates to secure them to the ground.
Our standard stalls are for 140mm diameter cylinders (F or HX size) we make them to hold 10 or 15 cylinders. We have also manufactured stalls to take the larger 230mm diameter cylinders (J, L or W size) we make these to take either 8 or 10 cylinders. The stalls can be powder coated or left with a zinc plate finish according to customer preference.
We also supply a standalone cage to hold 20 x 140mm diameter cylinders and a wall cage to hold 6 x 140mm diameter cylinders.

Bespoke Products
As well as our standard medical cylinder containers, stalls and restraints we also design and build a large amount of customer specific storage containers.
For example we recently designed and manufactured two large cylinder racks to hold 50 x BA kits for a safety training centre. We have also designed and manufactured medical gas holders and restraints for a fleet of medical delivery vans and also storage containers to be used on ships. We are very flexible and have made racks to store various other items not just cylinders, including large camera tripod racks for ITN.
